Mercy
Mercy Community Church is a small organic, community church that started in 2005. It is a church on a mission, a place where people living in housing, and those who do not, come together to work and make the world a better place. We seek to make the beautiful and difficult task of loving one another—as messy as it may be—to form true, honest, authentic, welcoming community. We ground ourselves in prayer and explore different avenues of self-expression, seeking to create space in our lives where God might help us to grow in new ways and live on the earth differently. All are truly welcome!
Mercy feeds several thousand homeless men and women each week. Our donated food and supplies helps with their great work reaching those in need on the streets and at their facility. Last year Contribute2America donated over 7000 pounds of food to their organization which assisted more than 2000 people.
Every 4th Wednesday of each month, C2A hosts a church dinner for the homeless at St. John’s Lutheran Church located at 1410 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
